The latest United Nations Human Development Report reveals a concerning trend for Pakistan. Experiencing a seven-slot drop in the Human Develop-ment Index (HDI) ranking for 2021-22, the country is now ranked at 161 among 192 states. The contributing factors include insufficient progress in education, health, and income indicators, placing Pakistan behind its regional counterparts.
