LAHORE: The Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) won the 71st National Body Building Championship, securing 142 points with seven gold, five silver and five bronze medals. The championship concluded here in Lahore on Sunday.
Gul Nawaz of Wapda was declared Mr Pakistan, while Kishwar Ali of Wapda clinched the title of Master Pakistan, according to a spokesperson for Wapda.
Army remained runners up with 78 points winning three gold, three silver and three bronze medals while railways got third position with 13 points and winning one gold medal.
The three-day championship was organised by Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation. Ten teams participated in it, including Wapda, Army, Railways, Police, Higher Education Commission, Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.
