A total of 23,084 Palestinians have been killed and 58,926 have been injured in Israeli strikes on Gaza since Oct 7, the Gaza health ministry said in a statement, Reuters reports.

Some 249 Palestinians were killed and 510 were wounded in the previous 24 hours, the ministry added.
