While the Israeli Knesset has been ordered not to discuss the killing of Hamas leader Salah al-Arouri, it is a major topic of discussion among the Israeli public, Al Jazeera’s Laura Khan reports from occupied East Jerusalem.

“Everyone is talking about it, and it has been splashed across the headlines of [Israeli] newspapers,” which are using words like “eliminated” to describe his killing, Khan said.

Still, Israel’s government has not yet officially claimed responsibility for the strike, she added.
