World should be ‘absolutely outraged’, says UN official after newborn killed in Gaza hospital strike
Gemma Connell, an official of the United Nation’s humanitarian agency, has said that the world should be “absolutely horrified” and “outraged” after Israeli strikes at two medical facilities killed at least five, including a newborn.
Connell, who was standing in the Al-Amal hospital, showed blood on the ground, saying: “You can see just behind me the diapers. This was a space where babies were living.”
“There is no safe space in Gaza and the world should be ashamed,” she added.
