The Gaza Ministry of Health has published the names of 19 people who have been approved for medical evacuation from Gaza through the Rafah Crossing with Egypt today, Al Jazeera reports.

The group of 19 patients — including a two-week-old baby — have severe injuries and illnesses, including cancer.

According to the UN, the number of wounded Palestinians and other medical cases evacuated from the besieged enclave since Oct 7 represents just 1 per cent of the total number of people reported injured in Israeli bombing.
