The Palestinian Red Crescent has urged people to “keep in mind that over two million individuals in Gaza find it challenging to contemplate the coming year as they grapple with the daily struggle for survival”.

In a video statement posted on its X account, its spokesperson Nebal Farsakh said that “over 70 per cent of residencies in Gaza are either partly or completely destroyed” due to the Israeli bombing.
