Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has said that he will not transfer tax money to the Palestinian Authority (PA) as long as he is in his current position, according to the Israeli newspapers Haaretz and The Times of Israel.

This follows a recent report in Axios that the US is pressuring Israel to release the monthly tax revenues collected by Israel for transfer to the PA, which has been halted since October 7.
