Several people are feared dead and injured after an Israeli strike hit central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp, media outlets report citing reporters on the ground.

Citing medical sources, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that as many as 20 people were killed in the strike, with many others still missing and possibly trapped under rubble.

Earlier, Al Jazeera reported that several injured people from Nuseirat were brought to al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia for treatment.
