A former prisoner has been re-arrested in the city of Tulkarem as Israeli forces stormed the area of the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reports quoting Wafa news agency.

The man was identified as Islambouli Riyad Badir, 32.

In the village of Safa, west of Ramallah, residents told Wafa that the head of the village council, Rashad Karaja, was also arrested by Israeli forces who raided his home.

In Ramallah’s al-Masayef neighbourhood, Israeli forces also arrested another freed prisoner, Ihsan Shtayyeh, following a raid on his home.
