Lebanese group Hezbollah said it targeted several Israeli army positions, adding that it inflicted “casualties” on Israeli soldiers, Al Jazeera reports.

The group said its fighters targeted troops on the edges of Hanita “in support of Palestinians in Gaza and their “honourable resistance”. It said Israeli troops were “wounded and killed”.

Hezbollah said it also targeted an Israeli army position in Kibbutz Manara in the Upper Galilee, adjacent to the border. Its fighters caused “casualties” among troops there as well, it added.
