Khalil al-Degran, spokesperson of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, said a large number of injured people and bodies were still under the rubble after Israeli strikes targeted the al-Maghazi and al-Bureij refugee camps.

“The massacres come within the framework of a policy of genocide against our people,” he told Al Jazeera, adding that several wounded people lost their lives because there were no supplies to treat them with.

“We appeal to the world to stop the aggression and send medical and food supplies,” al-Degran said.
