The Jordanian foreign ministry has said the country’s deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs, Ayman Safadi, is in Qatar to hold talks with Qatar’s prime minister and minister of foreign affairs.

In a statement posted on X, the ministry said the purpose of the visit is to “intensify targeted efforts to stop the raging war on Gaza”.
