Israeli forces have released some detained members of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), while eight members still remain in custody, the group said in a post on X.

Those detained faced beatings, torture and interrogation, according to released members.

“The PRCS strongly condemns the targeting, arresting, and assaulting of its teams. It urgently calls on the international community to apply pressure for the immediate release and protection of its staff in Gaza, allowing them to persist in delivering crucial and life-saving humanitarian services.”
