More than 360,000 cases of infectious diseases recorded in UNRWA shelters

Lack of food, basic survival items, and poor hygiene, exacerbate dire living conditions, are increasing the spread of disease, the UN agency that caters to the needs of Palestinian refugees says, Al Jazeera reports.

The infectious diseases that have been recorded in shelters include acute respiratory infections, meningitis, jaundice, impetigo, and chickenpox.
