Channel 13 in Israel reported that Netanyahu is seeking to delay his corruption trial after his defence attorney sent a letter to the prosecutor’s office requesting they reject the testimony of certain witnesses, Al Jazeera reports.

Netanyahu has been charged with incidents of fraud, bribery and breach of trust in cases dating back to 2019.

The channel reported that officials at the prosecutor’s office were concerned that the request by lawyers would delay the trial for months.
