Israel Airports Authority confirms putting hundreds on unpaid leave
The Israel Airports Authority confirmed to Al Jazeera that 600 Israeli airport staff are now on unpaid leave as air traffic to Israel drops amid the Gaza conflict, following an earlier report by Israeli financial newspaper Globes.
An additional 1,000 airport staff have been called up to the army reserves, while 2,000 more have seen their hours reduced by 25 per cent due to the drop in business, Globes reported.
