UK’s David Cameron to push for increased European coordination on Gaza: report
UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron is set to address the situation in Gaza during discussions in France and Italy today, Al Jazeera reports.
The UK foreign office, in a statement preceding the visit, noted that Cameron would emphasise the need for a lasting ceasefire and peace, urging enhanced coordination among European allies to facilitate life-saving aid delivery to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Scheduled meetings include talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, Cameron’s French counterpart Catherine Colonna, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
