The Israeli army has said that the four soldiers were killed during the latest clashes between its forces and Palestinian groups in the southern Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reports.

One of the soldiers died of his injuries on Sunday following the fighting on Thursday, the military said.

Another soldier was also reported injured.
