IDF spokesman for the Arab media Avichay Adraee has said that the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) took control and destroyed the headquarters of the Shujaiya Battalion affiliated with the Palestinian fighter group Hamas.

In a post on X, Adraee said combat groups of the commando division and the 7 Brigade raided infrastructure in Khan Younis, eliminating many fighters and finding tunnel openings belonging to the Palestinian group.

The military force also destroyed a weapons warehouse, the post said.
