A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza has given an update on the healthcare situation in northern Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.

He said that no medical services are available in the area, and that the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital is at full capacity and is unable to provide any medical services.

Israeli forces opened fire on several medical personnel at the Kamal Adwan Hospital, he said, adding that Israel controls the flow of medical aid into Gaza and the number of patients seeking treatment abroad.
