A staff member of Save the Children, along with his family, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza, the head of the organisation’s conflict team in the United Kingdom has said.

UN relief chief Martin Griffiths expressed his grief, reiterating rules of war that require parties to “protect civilians, including humanitarian workers”.
