The health ministry in the Gaza Strip has said the death toll of the Israel bombardment of the territory has risen to 18,205, AFP reports.

Some 49,645 people have been wounded since the military campaign began on October 7, ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra has said in a statement.
