Ambassador Majed Bamya, deputy permanent observer for Palestine to the United Nations, shared a post on X naming more than 100 countries that supported the Gaza ceasefire resolution at the UN Security Council.

The resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire failed when the US alone used its power of veto to scuttle the proposal to bring peace to the Palestinian territory.
