The Israeli newspaper Haaretz has reported that a fire broke out in a tent located in a protest encampment organised by the families of the hostages held in Gaza.

Haaretz says the families believe it was a case of suspected arson.

The protesters who have set up camp outside the military headquarters in Tel Aviv have been subjected to verbal harassment by right-wingers over the past few weeks.
