World Food Programme chief Cindy McCain has said that “everyone in Gaza is hungry” as the humanitarian system was collapsing.

She added that two months of Israel’s offensive in the enclave had“caused unimaginable loss, destruction and misery”.

“Thousands have been killed, millions are displaced.”
