The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees said heavy Israeli bombardment and resumption of military operations have made the situation in Gaza desperate.

“Conditions required to deliver aid DO NOT exist,” it wrote in a post on X, adding that UNRWA shelters in the Strip were overflowing and operations were being strangled.
