According to a video clip posted on X by Al Jazeera Arabic, the man’s daughter and granddaughter were killed in the latest Israeli strike in central Gaza’s city of Deir al-Balah.

In the video, the elderly man is seen sobbing as he kissed the remains of his granddaughter and placed them on the floor of a makeshift morgue.
