Jemima Goldsmith talks about rising anti-Semitism and Islamophobia

Filmmaker and activist, Jemima Goldsmith, writes about the rising anti-Semitism and Islamophobia following the exacerbating Middle East crisis in an article in The Independent, stating that “you can oppose both rising anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim hatred”.

Speaking from her own experience as the ex-wife of former premier Imran Khan, she highlighted that her Jewish heritage made her the subject of multiple threats in Pakistan. She wrote, “There is also an under-acknowledged problem with anti-Semitism within Muslim communities.”

She added, “Equally, Muslim hatred is also on the rise, and it affects many people I love — including my children.”
