Number of hospitals operating in northern Gaza rises to 6: UN agency
Since the start of the pause in fighting, the number of hospitals operating in northern Gaza has risen to six (out of 24), the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has said.
In an update on the situation, it said that a Jordanian field hospital recently established next to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis has started operating.
It also mentioned the incident of decomposed bodies of five premature children being found on Nov 29 in An Nasr Paediatric Hospital.
“This facility was reportedly forcefully evacuated on Nov 10 by Israeli forces. The circumstances of the case remain unclear,” the OCHA said.
