A second Israeli shooting incident targeting Palestinian boats has been reported off Gaza’s shore.

Israeli forces “opened fire on a Palestinian boat that was trying to go out into the open sea from the shores of Deir al-Balah. The boat returned to the shore,” journalist Amir Bohot said in a post on X.

An Al Jazeera correspondent earlier reported that Israeli gunboats shelled the coast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza at dawn.
