KARACHI, Feb 18: Mr Javed Mahmood has been appointed as Chief Executive of the Hub Power Company Limited (Hubco), With effect from March 1, 2006.

According to a press release issued by the company he will replace Mr Ashraf Tumbi who will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors.
