Everybody is aware this war in Gaza is far from over, reports Al Jazeera’s Charles Stratford from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Speaking to family members a day ago who had relatives released from Israeli jails, one man told Al Jazeera that he wouldn’t be celebrating the release of his son.

In his words, thousands have been killed in Gaza in the buildup to this deal.

“There is also this ongoing fear of these nightly raids by the Israeli military across the occupied West Bank,” said Stratford.
