GILGIT, Feb 17: Authorities in the N. Areas have enhanced security for Chinese engineers and workers in the region following Wednesday’s attacks on engineers of the neighbouring country in Hub.

Sources said security for Chinese engineers working in the region, particularly working on the Naltar Hydroelectric Power Project had been enhanced. They said police and Frontier Constabulary guards had been deployed at the project site and pickets had been set up in Naltar.—Correspondent
