Hopeful and sombre mood in Tel Aviv as families await release of loved ones
Reporting from the so-called Hostage Square in Israel’s city of Tel Aviv, Al Jazeera’s Sara Khairat says some in the crowd are hopeful but others are in a sombre mood.
According to Al Jazeera, there are also music performances, she added, with religious music and songs about the return of people.
“Songs about the pain a mother would feel for her loved one, her child,” Khairat said.
