Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has said Pakistan is willing to airlift and treat injured Palestinians. However, he said permission would be need for Israel for the evacuations.

Briefing a Senate session, he said several foreign ministers from various countries called and thanked Pakistan for its role in helping bring an end to the conflict in Gaza, adding that the OIC summit played a large role in pushing for the temporary truce.

“Israel needs to be held accountable, and no other solution is acceptable other than a free Palestine,” Jilani said.
