The Israeli military has told residents of Gaza’s Jabalia, Al-Daraj Al-Tuffah, and Al-Shuja’iya neighbourhoods to evacuate towards the southern areas of the strip.

In a post on X, Israeli army’s Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the evacuation window will remain open till 4pm. He also announced a tactical pause in military operations in Rafah camp area from 10am to 2pm. It is currently 11:41 am in Gaza.

“Hamas has lost its control over the northern Gaza Strip area and is trying to prevent you from moving south and protect yourselves,” he added.
