US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield has said that it would be impossible to deliver aid to vulnerable communities “without the brave men and women who work for UNRWA”.

“This moment has made it abundantly clear: we need a strong and effective UN and a strong and effective UNRWA,” she said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
