Saudi Arabia reiterates call for ceasefire, rejects Israel’s ‘continued military escalation’
Regional power Saudi Arabia has once again called for an immediate Israeli-Hamas ceasefire, Reuters reports.
“We are seeing civilians dying every day. And we need to end that today, not tomorrow,” Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said at the annual IISS Manama Dialogue security conference in Bahrain.
In his meeting with EU Commission Vice-President Josep Borrell, the minister “renewed the Kingdom’s rejection of the continued military escalation and violations by the Israeli occupation forces against civilians”.
