Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has demanded the cessation of Israeli hostilities and the immediate provision of humanitarian and medical assistance to the people of Gaza.

During a meeting with US Ambassador Donald Blome, Nawaz also highlighted the dire situation faced by innocent Palestinians, “facing merciless killings due to indiscriminate Israeli bombardment and the imposition of a siege around Gaza”.
