The Israeli army claims it conducted an airstrike on a hideout for fighters planning an attack against Israel in the Balata refugee camp located near Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reports.

The military claimed it struck “a number of terrorists … and prevented terror attacks against Israeli civilians”. It provided the name of one senior fighter killed in the attack, without attributing an affiliation to a specific armed group.
