Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia have called for an immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce leading to cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, Reuters reports.

The countries said they are issuing their statement to give a better and fair reflection of the discussions on the Gaza situation during a meeting of leaders from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
