Two members of Israel’s war cabinet and one of its observers support the expansion of the army’s ground invasion to southern Gaza, Al Jazeera reports quoting Israeli media outlet Walla as saying.

The media outlet says there is unanimity between Defence Minister Yoav Galant, minister Benny Gantz and the Israeli army’s former chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot to push ahead with military operations regardless of ongoing talks on a deal to release captives.
