The Palestinian Authority (PA) foreign ministry has said that comments made by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich were “part of Israel’s colonial, racist plan” for Palestinians, Al Jazeera reports.

“I welcome the initiative of the voluntary emigration of Gaza Arabs to countries around the world,” Smotrich said in a statement.

The PA ministry said that the only solution is for Israel to end its genocide — which is being supported by the likes of Smotrich — of Palestinians in Gaza and for international intervention to end Israel’s occupation.
