LAHORE, Feb 15: After a long and meritorious association with Dawn, Mr Z. I. Mirza has retired as Resident Editor, Lahore. He will be succeeded as Resident Editor by Mr Murtaza Razvi, currently Assistant Editor with Dawn, Lahore.

Mr Z. I. Mirza joined Dawn when it had only a small bureau in Lahore and saw it become a full-fledged regional office when the newspaper began publishing its own edition from the city. He was Resident Editor since 2000.
