The Israeli army has said civilians will be allowed to flee northern Gaza along Salah al-Din Street from 9:00am [7:00 GMT] to 4pm [14:00 GMT].

It said there will be a four-hour “temporary tactical cessation of military activities” in Jabalia starting from 10am [8:00 GMT].

“We call on residents to take advantage of this temporary suspension of fires and move south,” the army said on its Arabic channel on X.

There will also be a humanitarian corridor for people to leave al-Shifa Hospital through al-Wahda street to reach Salah al-Din route, the army said.
