Dr Ghassan Abu Sitta, a surgeon treating patients in Gaza, has said that the wounded are no longer being treated for their injuries but rather merely “being stabilised the best they could” be.

“Delayed treatment, especially in children, leads to delayed reconstruction and eventually increased disability,” he warned.
