President Dr Arif Alvi has spoken to his Palestinian counterpart President Mahmoud Abbas and expressed his heartfelt sympathies and grief on behalf of the people of Pakistan.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the President deplored what was happening in Gaza, terming it very painful.

“The entire Pakistani nation was deeply saddened by the brutalities and reign of terror unleashed by the Israeli security forces,” he said.
