Turkey ready to assume guarantor role to resolve crisis in Gaza, Erdogan tells Raisi
Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan has told his Iranian counterpart Ibrahim Raisi that Ankara is ready to assume a guarantor role to resolve the crisis between Israel and Palestinians in Gaza, the Turkish presidency said, Reuters reports.
Erdogan and Raisi met on the sidelines of a summit of the Economic Cooperation Organisation in Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent, according to a statement of the Turkish presidency.
