Israeli military opens ‘evacuation corridor’ for Gazans to move south
The Israeli Defence Forces say they have opened an “evacuation corridor” for the people of Gaza in the north to move south.
According to Avichay Adraee, IDF spokesman for the Arab media, movement will be allowed from 10am to 4pm. Right now, it is 11:31am in Gaza. He added that about 50,000 residents of the northern Gaza Strip headed to the south yesterday.
“The northern Gaza Strip area is considered a fierce combat zone and time is running out to evacuate it,” Adraee said.
